your internal mindset shapes your future
Once, many decades ago, there were two men who suddenly found themselves without jobs. Here’s what these two folks did.
One knelt down and said to the Almighty: “I don’t understand why this misfortune is upon me, but I know that You have an answer for me.”
He then went to his kitchen table and made a list of the hundred top executives of the biggest American organizations. He wrote a letter to each of these leaders and told them about his previous record in absolute honesty. Soon, he got seven offers, one of which led him to his dream job where he was able to use his talents and skills to their fullest potential.
The other gentleman got shattered and went all to pieces. Many years went by, and sadly, he never made anything of his life.
Helen Keller once said, “Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence.”
If you maintain a positive outlook and focus on opportunities rather than obstacles, you are more likely to achieve your goals and live a fulfilling life. Conversely, if you have a negative outlook and dwell on problems and difficulties all day, you may struggle to achieve success and experience contentment.
In essence, it’s your internal mindset that ultimately determines your experience of the world.
