you must open yourself to God’s blessings
“Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you never you; never will I forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5
A frustrated couple once consulted a minister and said, “We don't understand why we have money trouble all the time. You talk about the boundless generosity of God, but we never see anything of it.” And they asked, “Will you pray for us?”
The minister gave them an unusual task. “Tomorrow I want you to go to the beach. See if you can calculate how many grains of sand the Lord made. When you get tired of considering the sand, walk through the park and count all the leaves on the trees.
“I want you to realize,” the minister told them, “that this God who has put all the sand on the beach and all the leaves on the trees is trying to put blessings into your life. But you’re closed. Your belief is too little.”
The couple went and had a deep discussion with God. They reevaluated their relationship with money and soon began to reappraise their lives. They started a business venture that not only added immense value to others but also brought new meaning and prosperity to their lives. They let go of their limiting beliefs and learned to believe big, pray big, and think big. Their enterprise turned into a massive empire, and they built themselves a full, rich, and satisfying life.
. . .
Again, it’s not money but the “love of money” that’s the root of all evil. Money is a tool, an instrument that helps you create a magnificent life for yourself and your loved ones. And if you use it well with diligence and discipline, you will experience the boundless generosity of the Almighty. It’s a given!
You must have the right perspective toward money and cultivate happiness and contentment no matter what stage of life you find yourself in at the moment. Moreover, you must have an unshakeable faith that money will flow to you in great quantities, and that new avenues and income streams will open up surely and shortly to facilitate that. Because you’re a child of the Lord and abundance is your birthright.
So, if you find yourself in a money crunch right now, don’t be dejected. Let go of your worries and enjoy the present moment.
Just do your best and let God do the rest.
