you are worthy of love
Do you believe you are worthy of love?
Give an honest answer to yourself.
If your response is no, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Millions of people all around the globe feel this way.
If you routinely shut down when it comes to openly and freely expressing your love to someone, or hesitate and feel uncomfortable being on the receiving end of someone’s affection, it’s time you start working on yourself. Because sticking to these autopilot patterns is not only hurting and limiting you, and robbing you of beautiful experiences, but it’s also depriving others of the gift of your love.
No matter your shortcomings and imperfections, you are worthy of love. You do deserve to receive all the love and goodness that you desire.
If one of your limiting beliefs right now is that you’ll never find true love in this lifetime, examine its history with you and imagine what would happen and how your life would change if you release it from your system. Then, replace this debilitating belief with this new, empowering belief:
“I’m capable of love, and I’m worthy of being loved. I have the capacity to build a strong relationship grounded in true love.”
Live and act in alignment with this new belief. Look in the mirror and declare that you are worthy of love. Repeat the above statement over and over again—with feeling!
Reinforce this positive belief by writing it down on sticky notes and putting them behind your closet door, on the bathroom mirror, on the car dashboard, and so on. Also, you can set alarms on your phone and set the above statement as a reminder message.
Whenever the limiting belief starts surfacing again and you find yourself feeling low in response to it, focus your attention on the new belief and consider how living in accordance with it might positively impact your life – how it might create new possibilities and expand your horizons.
