where are you going?
A horse suddenly came galloping quickly. It appeared that the man had somewhere very important to go.
Another man, who was standing alongside the road, shouted, “Where are you going?“
The man on the horse replied, “I don’t know. Ask the horse!“
This short Zen story is not too different from that of many people’s lives who are riding the horses of their habits. They are wandering aimlessly without any clarity, purpose and intention. Their negative habits, and innocuous seeming addictions and compulsions are running their lives on autopilot mode and they are living at the mercy of them.
We need to stop these patterns from sabotaging our success and our well-being once and for all. It’s time to take control of the reins and move your life in the direction of where you really want to go. You have the power to create your destiny, you just need to believe in it and own it.
