pain is overrated
Our current culture celebrates pain. It’s a common belief that working extremely hard and undergoing immense pain are needed for success. You may try that approach, but the success that you attain will be short-lived.
Attract success, don’t chase it. Let go of the mindset of ‘No pain, no gain.’ It is helpful to some extent, but it trains us to look for pain even in circumstances of our life where there isn’t. We start seeking pain to grow, and that doesn’t work well in the long-term.
Use pain, don’t let it use you. Make sure that the pain you experience is intentional and restrict and contain it when needed. Push your boundaries, but don’t overwhelm yourself so much that you are back to square one and you need to start all over again.
