do less to achieve more
Many people think that the key to superhuman productivity is doing more. In truth, it’s the exact opposite: doing less.
If you want to ramp up your productivity and your happiness, instead of focusing on your to-do list, take the road less traveled, and focus on your not-to-do list.
The more focused you get on doing the work that matters, the better your results are going to be. As Kate Northrup writes in Harvard Business Review, “When you stop doing the things that make you feel busy but aren’t getting you results (and are draining you of energy), then you end up with more than enough time for what matters and a sense of peace and spaciousness that constant activity has kept outside your reach.”
